The 2000-2001 school year has been a Banner Year for Fannin Tigers.  We started off the year with the Texas Education Agency citing us as a "Recognized School."  Fannin then received the "Texas Outstanding Parent Program Award" for our volunteers in the Literacy Lab.  Recently the TEA recognized Fannin as a "Texas Success School", one of only two school in our district.

Then add in the great responses by our parents to our "Parent-teacher Conference Day, Parent Fair, Dad and Kids Night, Dads and Daughters Night, and Dads' and Sons' Night."  All this along with a very very hardworking and helpful PTA has made for an outstanding year.

Students have been extremely focused academically, especially on our recent TAAS test.  Tiger students were also the very best in the District Science Fair.

Please understand this is not bragging, but I am very proud of the accomplishments of this year's students, parents and staff.  A big THANK YOU for all the hard work, cooperation and support.  Don't forget to attend the "End-of-the-Year" Awards Assembly for your child during the week of May 21.  Times and dates are on the calendar.
