Guidance and Counseling

Focus on Children & Families is an early intervention and prevention program that offers a wide range of services to children and their families.  The program has been existence for more than 10 years and offers quality social services to families through collaboration between EPISD and community agencies.  Its primary goal is to help students be successful in the early primary grades and to prepare the child for the future.  We believe in strengthening families and helping children develop a strong academic background.

Focus on Children and Families utilizes a comprehensive approach to provide families with a variety of services at the most accessible sites, their school.  Our program is designed to provide therapy and social services.  Because theses services are provided at the child’s school, working parents do not have to miss a day’s work and the child stays in school.
